(5 to 7 years)
Laurel Project learning occurs in a creative and participatory setting, using music, dance, drawing, creative movement, games, role play, physical props and story telling. The children will be immersed in an interactive Mandarin-speaking environment.
The activities are similar to Preschoolers, but will be conducted with a greater emphasis on improving the children’s expressive skills in Mandarin. Children learn basic words and phrases, forming a foundation for later learning. The spoken language is emphasized and simple writing is taught.
